Overloaded Diaper Bags
“I Packed for a Park Trip. Apparently, Also for Armageddon.”
New father Logan Grigsby took the concept of preparedness to weaponized extremes after packing a diaper bag so large it tripped TSA-level security at the local playground. “I just didn’t want to be caught off guard,” Logan said, adjusting the tactical harness keeping the pack on his shoulders.
The bag included: 6 diapers per hour of estimated outdoor time, a weather-activated humidifier, three backup chargers, a drone that dispenses pacifiers, and one CPR dummy “for rehearsal.”
“There’s a flameless bottle warmer powered by kinetic wrist motion,” Logan added. “Also a second flameless bottle warmer–just in case.”
Other parents reported hearing a beeping noise as Logan’s baby cried. It turned out to be a self-soothing algorithm embedded in the strap, programmed to play whale noises and affirmations in four languages.
Playground authorities issued a weight advisory after a seesaw malfunctioned when Logan set the bag down.
Logan is now developing a podcast called *Dad Tactical,* with episodes like “Wipe Triage” and “The Thermos Doctrine.”
His baby reportedly prefers a sock and a stick.
Auf Wiedersehen, amigos.
